Clap Dubai is the flagship restaurant of Addmind Hospitality, one of the UAE’s leading hospitality groups.
The venue is among the largest dining and entertainment destinations in DIFC: the main restaurant accommodates up to 250 guests, while the Ongaku club space hosts up to 400 attendees.

CHALLENGE
MAXIMIZE RESTAURANT CAPACITY ON NEW YEAR’S EVE
With panoramic views of Dubai’s New Year fireworks, Clap Dubai traditionally experiences high demand during the holiday season, while the adjacent Ongaku club area had remained underutilized.
The objective was to develop an event concept capable of attracting a large audience and creating a dynamic entertainment program that would not only fully book Ongaku for dinner service, but also encourage a seamless flow of guests from the main restaurant into the nightlife space.

SOLUTION
Beyond the restaurant’s operational goals, there was also a clear demand from Dubai’s Russian-speaking business community: many relocated professionals were searching for a place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a familiar atmosphere — with Russian-scale celebrations, recognizable music, and like-minded people.
This insight shaped the event concept, balancing the interests of both the venue and its audience. The project featured custom festive décor inspired by Russian holiday aesthetics, a specially curated New Year’s menu, and an entertainment program headlined by DJ Fyodor Fomin.

RESULTS
New Year’s Eve 2024 became the most commercially successful holiday event in Clap Dubai’s history. Attendance reached record levels for an event of this format.
The project received highly positive feedback from Dubai’s Russian-speaking community, who highlighted the rare opportunity to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the heart of DIFC with a familiar cultural atmosphere and music experience.
Following the event, several Russian companies selected Clap as the venue for future corporate celebrations based on recommendations from attendees.
